Following an Idea
My grandpa always had the idea of opening a pizza place in Hawaii after he got out of the service. Instead, he came home, settled on the family farm, and the family had carnival food trucks. Fast, quality, and consistent was his legacy.
Growing
I took the time to plan how to build and took a serious leap when I had the chance to finally execute a plan. I lacked the knowledge and the tools, but good friends and shear will pushed me through the adventure until I fell into my new home. Some days it hurt some days it didn't, but my new home makes me wake up with excitement to fulfill this little dream of mine.

Great Ideas
Some ideas are ok, some are bad, others are just pure perfection! We don't always have good ideas, but when we do we do our best to make them fly!

Constant Product Review
We listen to the customers, even them bad Google reviews, to add and change the menu to fit the growing desire of the pizza people we take care of. Nor every opinion is valid, because we can't make everyone happy. We're just one of the many brands out there making pizza in a consumer driven world.

A Call fixes Most All.
We do our best to fix mistakes, but we don't know if you don't call. We want all of our customers to be happy with what they've ordered, otherwise we wouldn't have customers. Listening to the concern rather than reading a review can get the order fixed and make that person's little world better.
The New Home
Mason City, IA is what you make of it. If you want it to be our home and be successful, then there are people here that will help you grow. Powder Street Pizza exudes warmth and welcomes guests with open arms and the city of Mason City, whether people like to admit it or not, has done a far better job handling the Southbridge Mall situation than any previous owner. They have taken hold and followed with their plan and make this once desolate building into a thriving community that supports itself from within and has the community return to it. The growing pains have hurt, between machines breaking, constant adaptations, and figuring out how to balance this new style of business, the family we have in the mall has held us up and made us better. Natural Nails, Country Ax, River City Minigolf, Larson Red Zone Sports, The Mason City Arena, Mason City Parks and Recs, The North Iowa Bulls, The Mason City Toros, The Dance Arts Centre, The Sports Page, Pad Thai Express, and Mason City Gyro Place. Recently adding in Rock Steady Boxing. We hope that more will join us. Maybe a coffee shop, bakery, subs, a thrift store, or whatever. More is better.
